Welcome, this is "Come Pan" and "Taco de Pescado" with the Sunday surf report. We went up north today waves were over head, with mostly off shore wind, and warm water. When we arrived the waves were experiencing some morning sickness, then when the waves started to recuperate the wind switched. So the waves are not always perfect here in Nicaragua, but we caught some pretty fun waves anyways. Check it out.

We would like to welcome our new friends from Hunington Beach California, Serge and John, to Nicaragua. They hired me to take some pictures of them at the beach today. They were so stoked that they surfed some fun waves and got some great pictures.

Here is a great shot of John taking off late on a good left. These guys scored epic waves last March and are real excited that the waves are this fun on their second visit.

Serge is seen here pushing real hard off the bottom gaining some momentum for the next section. He was catching a lot of waves and getting some really long rides.

Unfortunatly when the rainy season comes it can make the wind kind of fickle. The rainy seasons normally starts mid to late May then ends in October. Normally down here in Nicaragua there is perfect conditions because of the all day off shore wind, but during the these times sometimes the surf gets a little depressing. On the other hand, during the change of seasons the fishing here is incredible and the scenery turns to a beautiful green. On this wave we have"Taco de Pescado" making the best of some sub par conditions.

Since "D-Lite" has been so popular on the web site recently, we thought we would interview him so everyone could know him a little more . "D-Lite" arrived here in Nicaragua about a week ago from St. Augustine Florida and plans to stay here for a total of about five weeks. D-Lite said that his favorite wave here is Playa Iguana because he like pulling into barrels and when its good there is not a better place. He would like to give a special hello to his beautiful wife  Sarah and his wonderful daughter Sage. He says he misses you and will see you soon. He also wants to say hello to all his friends and other family back home.

The final shot of the day goes to "Carlos Caliente" who is about to pull into a incredable looking barrel. After this shot I think everyone knows why we call him "Carlos Caliente". Hopefully the wind cooperates tomorrow and we can get some good shots of the leftovers. Check back tomorrow!
